I had buy a AC model no is VWF-3522 from Ezone Mumbai central branch my purches code is SO/20011000368 now the problem is no cooling and when I call the Ezone he had send the Executive to repair the same he told me your AC Gas is leakage from the pipes that's y the cooling is not happening now IN THIS CASE U HAVE TO GIVE ME A REPLACEMENT ASAP or send some one to repair the same

I think it is high time that you deal personally with responses from customers.

WHY VIDEOCON CAN NEVER BE THE BEST?


Here is explanation of what goes wrong with a live example.

I choose to buy Videocon AC. The Dealer insists full cash payment in advance. He assures that the AC will be delivered to me.

The Delivery is given on subcontract. Delivery people bring the AC and dump it at your home/office.

Two young boys arrive and install the AC. They vanish with money for installation and photocopy of the purchase bill.

Videocon has given total contract for after sales to only one Contractor (There is another for namesake) for entire MUMBAI. Mumbai is the cash giving cow for marketing people. The contractor of Videocon deals with many other things besides, videocon after sales.
Please note that the dealer (YOUR POINT OF PURCHASE)does not entertain complaints about the product sold by his outlet.

If you have problem the next minute, the next day, or whenever you begin using the AC the repair people do arrive after (maximum score is 6 reminder calls)you call them.

They do something. If you are not satisfied about the cooling, or the gas is burst with a loud noise they pick up the AC, take it to someplace where they repair it and reinstall the AC.

The customer has no way to communicate exact problems to the technician who repairs.


MENTAL DISTRESS AND VALUABLE TIME LOST

Whenever they come, you take a half day leave or cancel your work for about 2 hours. You leave your work and spend hours waiting believing the repair guys will come at the time they said they would. Waiting is for 'n' number of days or hours.
If only one guy comes to repair you are requested to help in dismounting or mounting the AC machine.

Nowhere Videocon technician is in the picture and there is no way or system for Videocon Company to get authentic feedback from customers.


However good your product be, if it is attended by untrained youngsters, the contractor does not loose money, but VIDEOCON looses its image. The death of brand identity is dangerous and spreads like infectious disease by word of mouth.

I know you as a person, hence I feel sorry for the mismanagement of after sales of your products, specially in the face of cut throat competition.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION MATTERS

FURTHER DEVELOPMENT

The complaint about videocon AC is dated April 2008. After two letters to the CEO, Shri V. N. Dhoot, a maintenance person turned up in September 2008.

He has inspected both the newly purchased ACs and identified some fault with the compressor.

I hope VIDEOCON takes steps to [1]give us good AC in working condition or
[2]graciously replace the defective AC or take it and
[3]keep in their office.
